The Restaurant il Casale la Foce  is immersed in the Simbruini Mountains Natural Park, in the splendid setting of the upper Aniene River Valley, whose flow starts from the nearby mountains, and of the historic town of Trevi in Lazio. The restaurant is  the ideal location for those looking for a quiet place with a park and a playground for children, and those who want to taste the typical dishes of the Lazio region: things like the unique home-made egg pasta, the pappardelle with wild boar ragu, the tripe, the snails, the “coratella”, and again “cacciatora” rabbit or lamb. In our reastaurant we cook with local meat only. To finish in style, we suggest to have a taste of our typical homemade desserts of “Trebana and Ciociara” tradition.

Coming in our splendid farmhouse surrounded by nature, you will enjoy your meal comfortably sitting in our outdoor veranda when the sun shines, or in front of our cozy fireplace in the winter time. Our menu is always made with our best local ingredients, and every course is rich, genuine and really delicious.

Our fresh pasta, daily made in our kitchen, is served with sauces and ragu typical of “trebana and ciociara” tradition, our second courses get prepared exclusively with meat coming from the best local farms, and the homemade tasty desserts, coming from our grandma’s recipes.

Kids are also welcome to play safe in our greeny playground in front of the restaurant.

Restaurant il Casale la Foce is available for banquets, celebrations and ceremonies. We will make you happy  with our customized and special menus, ensuring in every case extraordinary dishes, a friendly welcome and an impeccable service.

The virtual tour of the park

Restaurant il Casale la Foce has a large fenced green space for the costumers, perfect for a walk or to get a snooze in the beautiful surrounding nature. Aniene river flows very close, showing all its charm.

An amazing playground is reserved for your children, free to play and have fun outdoors in absolute tranquillity and security.

Caetani Castle

Caetani Castle, built around the XI century as a military fortification for the local feudal families, dominates the entire town of Trevi in Lazio and covers an area of over 800 square meters.

Trevi Waterfalls

Trevi waterfalls is one of the wonders of the Simbruini Mountains Regional Park, a natural paradise for the visitor. Here are still visible the ruins of a villa and impressive hydraulic works, built with square megalithic blocks, dating back, in all likelihood, at the time of the Emperor Claudius.

Aniene Tour

The Aniene River Valley is one of the most fascinating areas of the Lazio region where outstanding ancient monuments are combined with medieval memories in a mountainous landscape crossed by wide and fertile valleys rich in water. The Aniene River Valley has many gems as Subiaco, with St. Benedict Monastery, Vicovaro and its Cyclopean Walls, Vallinfreda with its Bencivenga Palace of pure baroque style and Riofreddo with Villa Garibaldi.
